Major structural alterations and complete refurbishment were the order of the day when Folkestone Town Council asked Godden Allen Lawn to turn part of the building into a stylish new museum.

We looked after the architectural design of the ambitious transformation as well as acting as lead consultant. During the extensive renovation work we discovered an old but intact police cell, complete with graffiti and now part of the museum itself.
